Until recently there wasn't much you could do with fonts on the Internet, you could only use web safe fonts such as Arial. I am on PPT 2016. I wanted to embed fonts in the PPT and then email the PPT to customers. Naturally, these customers could be on a Mac, PC and any version of PPT. So I can't control the end viewing device. I have seen a constant issue where I embed the font into PPT but when they open the file, the fonts are not there and PPT defaults back to a standard font.
