I Keep Getting A Unknown Error For App Store On Mac

The new Mac App Store launched early Thursday morning, but not without a slight glitch. If you're among the users repeatedly seeing the message, 'We could not complete your App Store request.

I recently bought a new computer(Envy m6; AMD A10; HP) 1 week ago. I've been trying to get the apps that I need for school, and a few others. I was able to install a few apps at first, but then every time I tried to install any app, or update any as well, I get the error code 0x80070057. I was actually able to install a few different apps before they stopped installing/updating properly(After which they started giving me the 0x80070057 error). It is no specific app that is not installing, it's all apps. The only thing I had done between being able to install apps and receiving the error code, was switch to facebook and message a friend who asked me to get on Skype.

Switching back over to the Metro screen and clicking on Skype, Skype gave me some error screen saying it was unable to connect(Apparently a very common issue with Skype in the Metro UI). Tried updating, but was given the 0x80070057 error. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, at which point I began getting the error code for all apps. Updating any app gives me the same error. I've tried resetting the windows store cache, and giving 'all app packages' full permissions. I've also tried disabling Norton, enabling Windows Firewall, and any mix of disabled/enabled.

None have worked. Is there anything that's known to fix the issue, or any other way I can help to narrow down where the true issues lie?
