From my reading GameInput in the browser can be “fickle” and the problem with 360 controlers + Mac (in the first place) is that they are not supported by Apple (not an official driver). @Jazz I love the game but don't expect any Mac support. I requested controller support or at the very least better keyboard mapping, along with leaderboard support when the mac version first launched. To my knowledge, none of those features have been implemented in the 3-4 years the game has been on the mac app store.
I abandoned the mac platform a long time ago and switched to the steam version. If you have a pc or bootcamp partition on your mac, I would recommend getting the steam version.
It receives much more developer support and has frequent sales compared to the mac version.
