My Yahoo mail will not send from Apple Mail App on iPad or on iMac 10.11.6 starting today. On the iMac I checked the ports and I am using 465 so I tried 993 and that doesn't work either. On the iMac the sent message goes into the outbox and starts flashing on and off the screen until I delete it from the outbox. On the iPad the message goes into the outbox and tries to send but will not and I get '1 unsent message' notification. I can go to the yahoo mail app or web mail and can send just fine from there. My Gmail, Outlook and Live accounts all work on the Apple Mail App only Yahoo is the problem.

It's not going to work. I gave in and finally just created an Apple iCloud email just so I can email stuff from my iPad again. Just go to your Settings - Click your name - click iCloud, slide the 'Mail' button to on. It will ask you to create an iCloud email address and then when you open mail on your iPad you have a new account that works.
