VGL Lynx, MechCommander Lite + Bugs It wants to be MechCommander so so so bad. Some nice cut scenes. Ok voice acting (except for the transport driver, ouch) and some nice BattleTech Universe stuff. Problems include: Some ugly maps. As in ugly art. Pathfinding is wonky at times with AI unresponsive to your orders.

Mech repair/salvage seems totally broken. You can repair your Mechs, but you can't pilot them again. Salvage/Repair/Resource management is half implemented and looks like it was disabled partially at release. Difficulty seems kind of easy too.

Why make a big deal about pilot assignment to a mission when you never have control over who is available. None of my pilots were ever killed or wounded and were available for every mission, and I was always limited to just a lance of Mechs, so why go through the headache of pilot assignment on every mission? There are signs of bigger ideas, but it looks like the developer just didn't tie it all together. Favorite bug: On first playthrough, go to the final mission and failed it on first try (due to mech selection). Final cinema was unlocked in the Media section even though I haven't finished the game. Edit text change font and size in acrobat pro x for mac. Diehard BattleTech & MechWarrior fans may want it, but may ultimately be disappointed in the final game.

Shadow Warrior is a bold reimagining of the classic 3D Realms’ shooter from independent developer Flying Wild Hog (Hard Reset) starring the legendary and quick-witted warrior Lo Wang.

Casual gamers might like it as a Lite Strategy game. Freeze on excel for mac. It is the best portable BT/MW game, but since it's only competition is a MechAssault game for the DS, that's not saying much.

Ayato Ward, Waiting for stability As of right now the game has an enormous amount of potential with its storyline (Which is very rich in references to the Battletech storyline making it awesome for any Battletech fan!) The developer stands to make a good amount of money off of this app and its content if they could only get the app working.
